Once your application is approved, TPU will start processing your official visa support (electronic invitation letter). The document will be sent to the email address you specified in your application form.
Action required: Check with the Russian consulate in advance for the list of documents required to obtain a student visa.
Important: Immediately after receiving your visa, send a PDF copy to tseluiko@tpu.ru.
You must submit your travel details no later than 10 days before your arrival.
Action required: Fill out the Arrival Information Form and send it to tseluiko@tpu.ru.
Please note: TPU provides airport/station pick-up only for students arriving directly in Tomsk (Tomsk Airport or Tomsk Train Station).
A room in the TPU dormitory is reserved for you automatically upon your application approval. No additional housing requests are required at this stage.
Health Insurance: Medical insurance is mandatory for the entire duration of your studies. You can purchase it in your home country (if required for your visa) or upon arrival in Tomsk (recommended option).
Chest X-ray (Fluorography): A valid chest X-ray result is required for dormitory check-in. If you have had a chest X-ray within the last 12 months, bring the official certificate with you. If you do not have one, you will need to undergo the examination in Tomsk.
